The 2.0 engine is superior to the older 2.2 Individual passenger seats ( only available on later models) makes this a truly MPV.

Its the perfect size for our large family. Its nice to drive although LWB makes it harder to park in a normal parking space it does hang out a bit. The kids have plenty of space and the boot is a lovely size for our 2 large breed dogs. Any bags fit lovely under the seats so still plenty of leg space. I prefer the doors on a Transit but the Tourneo has better features.

The Ford Tourneo Custom is the crew van version of the manufacturer’s best-selling Transit Custom panel van. That means it does everything the latter model does – it’s great to drive, has a car-like interior, and is more refined and comfortable than you’d expect of a commercial vehicle – just with eight or nine seats in the back instead of a cargo area. The Transit has been around since 1965, but the Custom moniker was added for the most popular mid-size models in 2012, while the Tourneo name has been used to identify passenger models in certain markets since the second-generation Transit arrived in 1986. Rivals include the Mercedes Sprinter and the Volkswagen Transporter, but neither usually touch the Transit or Tourneo in the sales charts.
